  • Description
  • The Bundoon Blenny is a rather rare and unique blenny not often seen for sale. The Bundoon Blenny stays rather small and can be a great addition to most reef tanks. The Bundoon Blenny is mostly black with yellow and blue highlights on its body.

The Bundoon Blenny only reaches its full size of 3 inches as an adult. This means they can be added to such small tanks as 20 gallons. The Bundoon Blenny is a very peaceful fish and should be able to be kept with similar species without much aggression. If larger fish try to attack the Bundoon Blenny, it will nip at the large fish. The bite of the Bundoon Blenny is somewhat venomous, so care should be taken while working in an aquarium near a Bundoon Blenny.

The Bundoon Blenny is also a great addition to a reef tank, since it will not harm or nip at corals or inverts. The Bundoon Blenny is an herbivore, since it needs a diet rich in both meaty and green foods. Foods such as mysis and brine shrimp and algae should be offered to the Bundoon Blenny.

Having lots of rock in the tank will also help your Bundoon Blenny thrive. The rock will provide lots of areas for the Bundoon Blenny to hide if needed and also algae for them to graze on between feedings.
