  • Description
  • The Springeri Pseudochromis is a stunning small pseudochromis. The Springeri Pseudochromis has a dark blueish-black body with short horizontal electric blue stripes extending from its head.

The Springeri Pseudochromis grows to a maximum size of around 2 inches, so it can be kept in aquariums a small as 20 gallons. Although rather small, the Springeri Pseudochromis can be very aggressive to other pseudochromis, so should be the only pseudochromis in smaller tanks to lower territorial disputes.

The Springeri Pseudochromis is considered reef safe. They will not bother corals or other non-pseudochromis fish. They can go after very small inverts though, mostly smaller shrimp and bristleworms.

The Springeri Pseudochromis are carnivores, so they need a diet very rich in meaty foods. Food such as mysis and brine shrimp as well as frozen seafood will really help your Springeri Pseudochromis flourish in your aquarium.
